  • MQ Vienna Fashion Week

It´s Vienna Fashion Week and I haven´t had any time to catch one of the shows or sideevents. Yesterday I at least run by the fashion week tent at Museumsquartier (MQ) and took a five second peek into one of the pop-up stores. It was early in the day, raining and still quite empty.
But there are some days left maybe I´ll be able to see one or two shows. Check out the timetable, still a lot to see!

  • Franziskanerplatz

This idyllic square lies a little bit hidden in the first district and to be honest the main reason I go there is another one of my favourite cafés: “Kleines Café”. Probably one of the smallest coffee houses in Vienna and one of the most cosiest! In the summertime one is able to enjoy the calm surroundings of Franziskanerplatz while having some coffee and bread with chieves.

You might recognize the café, some scenes from the movie “Before Sunrise” were shot there.

Franziskanerplatz is located in one of Vienna’s oldest quarters, not far from St. Stephens. Franziskanerkirche (Franciscan Church) was built in the 17th century in a Renaissance style, incorporating some Gothic elements. In the middle of the square there is a fountain with the Moses statue, calles “Mosesbrunnen”.
