Welcome to Tobermory, Isle of Mull! I said goodbye to the Outer Hebrides and started my adventure in the Inner Hebrides. First stop: The Isle of Mull.
My little cottage was on a little hill in Tobermory, and when going down to the Main Road, I always got treated to this lovely view!
My first walk in Mull took me to the Tobermory Lighthouse, a nice little walk along the cliffs. After a month on the Outer Hebrides, seeing trees again and walking through the woods was lovely.
I was also lucky to find lots of raspberry bushes, and I snacked along the way.
Mull is served by quite a few ferries coming and going to Mainland Scotland.
First glimpse of the lighthouse with views of the mainland behind. Rubha nan Gall was built in 1857.
You can see inside the beautiful keeper’s cottage, which is now a holiday accommodation.
I went back the same way, again snacking on the raspberries and enjoying the trees and views.
