I always envied Berlin for its cute “Ampelmännchen”, the cute little guy in the pedestrian traffic lights in former East Germany. But since yesterday Viennas traffic lights have something almost better: cute little traffic light couples deeply in love! Aren´t those lovebirds the cutest? Even the stern looking Dürer bunny next to the Opera seems to approve!
Lifeball 2015 is coming, only some more days to got. This years theme is “Gold – Ver Sacrum | Santa primavera | Sacre du Printemps” and has been visually interpreted by Inge Prader. (Bodypainting by Birgit Mörtl and her team) – this picture, inspired by Klimt was projected onto the Leopold Museum last week. And it was more than worth to wait until sunset to see the “decorated” museum.
Viennas first food market at Marx Halle started yesterday and is still on today from 16:00 to 22:00. 30 food artist and 10 market stalls from Vienna (and around Vienna) present their specialities: from ice shots to grilled grasshoppers, from pulled pork to vegan crêpes.
