Rosenhügelstudios – Halle 6
Somehow I never posted these last pictures from the former “Filmstadt Wien”. Last November I visited the Rosenhügelstudios while they already were torn down, except for two building: in Halle 1 film and tv- shows were shot and in Halle 6 they made the perfect sound.
Built in 1941 the “Synchronhalle” is one of five best “sound rooms” worldwide. And it´s one of the biggest: it is possible to record two orchestras at the same time.
Lucky enough Halle 6 will be a recording studio again. It was taken over by Synchron Stage OG who are planning to produce and record music and sounds for big hollywood produtions. Currently renovation and moderisation works are propably still underway, but once finished Abbey Road Studios is going tol have big competition!

Open House Vienna 2015
Mark your calenders this weekend 82 buildings in Vienna open their doors again and it´s time to explore the city! Unfortunately I forgot to put it in my calender and I´m booked otherwise, but I will not make that mistake again 2016!
