It feels like there are thousands of christmasmarkets, pop up stores, design events and fleamarkets happening at the moment in Vienna – one of them is the HalliGalli right next to Badeschiff in the first district. Open every weekend until Christmas: streetfood, mulled wine, designers and artisans offering their works.

Despite of having no idea on what to expect I was hook as soon as I entered the building. This light installation was simply perfect to leave the city outside behind and getting ready to explore the meeting of modern art and baroque! Entering even more breathtaking rooms – Prince Eugene did know how to have the most stunning Palais bulit – with two Vincenzo Coronelli Coronelli Globes (1688 / 1693) from the Augustiner Chorherrenstift Vorau. Every large library had to have globes during the Baroque era.
Beautiful chandeliers everywhere but I really did fell in love with the one in the red “room”
