    First thing I just have to do as soon as I´m in Italy: having lots and lots of caffé! Consider my excitement when I discovered this coffee vending machine in Rome! If you´re interested, Caffé  Tazza d´Oro is right behind the Pantheon.

  • The Keyhole

    Seeing three different countries at once? Impossible? Oh no! While browsing blogs and websites about Rome I stumbled across the “coolest keyhole” – not only in Rome but everywhere! A peek through this magical lookingglas reveals Italy, Vatican City and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. A precious little gem – this keyhole!

    But not so secret any more….

    ….nevertheless if you are in the area (and you should be because of the beautiful orange grove (Giardini degli Aranci) next to Basilica of Santa Sabina and the breathtaking view over the city have a look trough THE keyhole!

  • Rainy Cinecittà – first impressions

    Ciao from Rome! So beautiful even when it´s raining cats and dogs! After some caffé we took the Metro to take a tour through Cinecittà. At the moment a remake of “Ben Hur” is shot there (we catched to see a glimpse of one set – no photographs allowed!) and Zero-Zero-Sette will start soon!

    We saw sets from different movies like “Gangs of New York” and a lot of the tv-show “Rome”. Here are some first (rainy) impressions:
