Sandy Bay

I stayed in the lovey green hut in Sandy Bay during my stay in the Ilse of Harris – it was really comfy and had the best views of the sea. I saw so many amazing sunsets, even though I didn´t have the friendliest weather.

Clach Steineagaidh

Right on the other side of the street was a standing stone, Clach Steineagaidh – overlooking the beautiful shore of Harris and looking towards the island of Taransay.

Back in Harris

Good bye North UIst and we are on the way to the Isle of Harris!

Bye Harris – hello Skye

It was time to say goodbye to Harris and board the ferry from Tarbert to the Isle of Skye.

Going through all the tiny isles, the ferry took the course to the Isle of Skye.

We got some company for a bit, and a school of dolphins joined us.

And hello Skye – the weather just stayed a bit wet, like in Harris. On the way to my shepherd’s hut I first stopped at the Rha Waterfalls and the Fairy Glen (next post).
