  • Cinecittà

    Just a short ride with the metro and you´re at Fellinis home: la Cinecittà. He actually really lived on these grounds!

    Founded in 1937 by Mussolini Cinecittà has been a working studio areal to this day. During our visit a remake of “Ben Hur” was shoot and according to the guide they were expecting the crew from the new Bond movie soon. (I´m sorry but “zero zero sette” doesn´t sound that sexy!)

Over eighty locations were created, from the Via Veneto to the dome of St. Peter´s.

  • Sunday at Stadtkino

    Today a documentariy about the austrian photographer Erich Lessing celebrated it´s viennes premiere at Stadtkino, which is now situated in the Künstlerhaus.

    Lessing worked for the famous Magnum agency and is known for his photojournalism work. His work is one of the main reasons I started to engage myself with photography.
