I continued my way along the Applecross Peninsula with the view of Skye on my side and some little cottages on the way.
I reached the other of the Peninsula and was more than ready for some cream tea at Nanny´s in Shieldaig. If you´re ever in that area, don´t miss this cosy tearoom with the best view over Loch Shieldaig. Fresh and strengthened I was ready to explore this lovely little coastal town.
Founded in 1800 it was used to train seamen for the war against Napoleon. When he was sent to exile Shieldaig became a fishing village and a little gem in North Western Scotland.
