Right in front of the City Hall (rådhus) are some beautiful old sailboats waiting for people to show them around the Fjord – of course I had to do a Fjord-Boat-Tour. It takes about two hours and if in Oslo you shouldn´t miss this.
Gliding through the water, norwegian folk music playing and wind in your hair! (And don´t forget your sunscreen!)
Akershus festning – the medieval castle
One of the old lighthouses
Summerhouses and their bathhouses – in more modest times, people used to bath underneath the houses to not be seen but still be able to talk to the neighbours.
View of Oslo – can you spot the Holmenkollen?
“The Queen” – the “King” is on the other side of the bay and again the Holmenkollen in the back.
Back in Aker Brygge… – The wooden building on the left with the bridge is the Astrup Fearnley museum .
