A rainy afternoon was the pefect excuse to spend some hours at the archeological museum – even that wasn´t any light in two of the rooms with all the marbles, still don´t know why, but it made me miss the famous buttocks of Venus Callipyge – there are so many beautiful artifacts, I might be going back there this autumn.
Founded in the 1750s by Charles III of Spain the museums hosts a huge collections of Roman and Greek artifacts from Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum.
