Last saturday a lot of the shops on Wollzeile invited to a little “Remasuri”, which is a viennese word for “fun mix-up”.
Wollzeile is a more laid back shopping area in the first district with lots of special stores like “Der Schweizer” (original cheese from Switzerland), Staudigl (one of my favourite health food stores), Konditorei Heiner (one of the oldest and best pastry shops), bookstores, an old candy store and many many more!
There are many places that inspire me and give me new ideas for photography projects or styling ideas. One of these places is “Fräulein Kleidsam” a vintage fashion store I discovered about three or four years ago. Fräulein Kleidsam stands for hand picked vintage pieces starting from 1900. From lingerie to wedding gowns, shoes, nylons, hats, handbags or jewellery, if you´re looking for this one fabulous item or outfit you´ll probably find it there.
Fräulein Kleidsam is also the mastermind behind and organizer of the Vintage Salon Vienna, which will take place for the third time this year. Save the date! Don´t miss this very special event! September 27 & 28 at Semperdepot (Atelierhaus der Akademie der Bildenden Künste).
