Paris is the city in which one loves to live. Sometimes I think this is because it is the only city in the world where you can step out of a railway station—the Gare D’Orsay—and see, simultaneously, the chief enchantments: the Seine with its bridges and bookstalls, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Tuileries Gardens, the Place de la Concorde, the beginning of the Champs Elysees—nearly everything except the Luxembourg Gardens and the Palais Royal. But what other city offers as much as you leave a train? – Margaret Anderson

Chateau de Gudanes
Yesterday I stumpled upon this article about a derelict, abandoned chateau in the south of France. And I felt in love with this building instantly.
Bought by an australian couple about three years ago, they started to renovate the chateau slowly and steady. On their blog they show the amazing details hidden behind cement, painted beams, 6m deep holes, fountains used to chill icecream and many more treasures!
In summer 2015 they plan to open the chateau to visitors and install a kind of pop-up-café – don´t miss this opportunity if you´re in the area!
